On August 21, volunteers will be hand-packaging 20,000 healthy meals that will be distributed to Orange County School children and their families through the Love Pantry Project, a project of the Christian Service Center. The College Park Rotary Club, Lake Highland Interact Club, and Edgewater Interact Club will be partnering with Feeding Children Everywhere and the Christian Service Center to make this an event that makes a difference.
Feeding Children Everywhere has launched its newest endeavor, US Hunger; a social charity that specializes in the empowerment and mobilization of people to provide a healthy solution to the hunger problem in the United States. The meals to be packed are simple, healthy and delicious. The main components are lentils, rice, a blend of six dehydrated vegetables and pink Himalayan salt. The meal is scientifically formulated to help combat the effects of hunger on the human body. The meal is also an important in the fight against anemia in countries around the world. US Hunger is partnering together with the Christian Service Center to distribute the packaged meals to the hungry right here in Central Florida.

You can donate too! As part of this event, The College Park Rotary Club, along with the Christian Service Center has provided 60% of the funding to for the cost of food/packing items. You can bring food, too! We are asking that those interested can bring canned food to help with other food in each of the Love Pantries. Please bring the following newly-purchased items to the event. If you are not able to attend, please drop-off these items during the event.
