The Love Pantry project has expanded!

Representatives from the Christian Service Center, Orange County Public Schools, Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, BB&T were in attendance at the dedication of the Love Pantry at Howard Middle School.  This dedication was representative of the 13 schools that BB&T has financially supported in cooperation with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools. Because of the support from our community, the Love Pantry is now removing hunger as a barrier to learning in 53 Orange County Public Schools.

In just the first 9 weeks of this 2012 school term through the Love Pantry project in 53 schools, 27,329 food items and 2,646 hygiene items have been distributed to 3,213 house members of which 2,782 were children.

The Love Pantry is removing hunger as a barrier to learning at Howard Middle School and across Orange County.
